The Huffington Post Investigative Fund

Nick Penniman merged his online documentary operation — the American News Project — with the Huffington Post Investigative Fund when he helped launch the Fund. He has formerly served as publisher of The Washington Monthly, associate editor of American Prospect magazine, D.C. director of the Schumann Center for Media and Democracy, and editor of TomPaine.com, program director of the Campaign for America's Future, director of the Alliance for Democracy and editor of the Lincoln Journal. He has served on multiple nonprofit boards, including the Homeless Empowerment Project and the Roosevelt Institution.
